I don’t like anything about this phone after giving myself 3 weeks of trying to get used to the new layout. I’m an LG G6 user – a wonderful phone that is no longer supported. Granted I am comparing an $800 dollar phone to this much cheaper phone, however my backup phone was an LGK18 that cost $140 brand new and ran circles around this phone. But the lack of support now that LG is not doing phones means that many apps won’t work anymore on these phones. I did my research and found that this phone was the top rated of the under $200 group. I expected that by virtue of simply updated technology with a phone that is 5 and 7 years newer I would get a smooth, no frills phone. This phone is driving me insane. Sometimes it won’t respond to tapping the screen. Almost impossible to take screen shots or read the thing in sunlight. Bluetooth disconnects. The screen will suddenly go micro and I still don’t know why or how to get it back to full screen. The face recognition doesn’t recognize me despite many attempts with different pictures and lighting. This is beyond a learning curve. It’s a clunky, crappy cheap phone. The battery is only slightly longer-lasting that my 7 year old LG G6 that is still on its original one. Sending it back.

When I received this phone it had stickers on the box that had Thai or Hindi writing on them, I really can’t tell the difference. Anyway, open the box and insert 3 different sim cards from 3 major carriers and only 1 of them worked, and it was only getting E as in Edge or 2g. Seriously, not 4GE but Just E. I believe this phone was imported and sold as a local phone. Anyway, I have already returned one phone because it was branded as the 5G version but it was only the standard 4G version. So I really didn’t feel like going through the trouble of returning another phone, so I took a chance that it would work in the Philippines and gave it to my fiancée as a gift, and thank god they use similar frequencies as the ones required by this phone. The sellers should really test these phones and be more specific in the description as to what carriers these phones are compatible with. Another thing I noticed is that when the phone boots up, it didn’t say the model of the phone, it only had a generic Samsung Galaxy boot logo. US versions of Samsung phones boot up and reveal the specific model number, ie. Samsung Galaxy Note 20 or whatever. So I believe there is something fishy with some of these phones. I’m leaving 1 star because of false advertising.

I bought this phone for a particular reason – I needed NFC and I did not want to get an Iphone. This phone is supposed to have NFC and it does not. Now I am stuck with a BRICK that does not have a feature that it says it has. Very Disappointed and now I have to go buy a new phone all over again.
